Elder Tapes, ET501G give a clear advantage in conformal coating masking
June 2016
Elder Engineering develops and launches green silicone free conformal coating masking tape ET501G.
SCH launch a range of high quality cleaning fluids for electronics in India.
NEW
Elder Engineering ET501G’s specially formulated Rubber adhesive is not only free of silicones but gives a very high degree of clean peel with minimal residue deposits.
Some solvents and curing will affect the adhesive upon tape removal, however, these are small and easily removed using MEK or other recommended solvents. The Green colour of the adhesive ensures that should any residue be left, it is easily identifiable and does not smear but will ball up.
Elder Engineering develops and launches green silicone free conformal coating masking tape ET501G.
- Designed specifically for conformal coating masking
- Polyester film backing with an excellent heat resistant
rubber adhesive coating. - Good release when unwinding roll for ease of application
- Silicone free product to avoid conformal coating de-wetting
- High temperature resistance.
Supplied in standard roll length of 66m and slit from 3mm to the full width of 610mm.
ET501G can also be converted to your conformal dots or other shapes if required.

SCH India are to demonstrating their new no mask conformal coating at Bangalore show
SCH Coating Solutions (PVT) Ltd are exhibiting at the Productronica India show in Bangalore this September.
They will be demonstrating their new range of fluorochemistry coatings that allow users to provide protection to their circuit boards like a conformal coating but eliminate masking in the process.

This breakthrough in technology will be demonstrated on the booth and customers can bring along their PCBs and coat them their and then.
The technology used is a non flammable solvent so their is little hazard to the user. It also dries ultra fast so you coat your board, take it away and test it.
Visit SCH at the Productronica show on the 21-23rd September at booth 3212 and discuss your conformal coating needs.

Elder Tapes, ET501G give a clear advantage
The need to see the area being masked to ensure complete coverage and adhesion is paramount in ensuring that your conformal coating is masked correctly and does not creep under the masking tape. ET501G is not only the only commercially available ‘Silicone Free’ tape but is translucent allowing a clear view of what is masked and its full adhesion.
Elder supply ET501G as slit rolls or Dots and are able to convert to your required size’s in order to suit your every masking requirement.
